Description
This is my daughter, Megan. During fast pitch softball season I took photos of her in action and this is one of her favorites. When the season was over the Coach sent out the awards for the year. Megan was chosen for the Sportsmanship Award!
I couldn't decide which photo to use so I am showing both...!
The photo on the left is the photo I took using PS lighting to enhance her face. The photo on the right is the same except that I layered the coach's words over the photo. I will print the photo on the right in 8X10 size and frame it as a gift to her. I hope you can zoom and read the words. This award took her by surprise! :-)

Nice work. The lighting mod is interesting and works pretty well, I think (I possibly would have toned it back a tad, but I think this is a matter of taste rather than right or wrong -- or possibly I'm the one that's wrong - ha). At any rate, nice shot and quite an accomplishment for the player as well, since good sportsmanship is not always easy nor as often displayed as it once was. Both of you keep up the good work.

a beautiful soft portrait, and full-resolution you got that reddish facial glow you do so well in portraits. It touches her lightly and brings it out from inside her. Nice clarity to her as well, and a relaxed but attentive stance. (Fits the wonderful tribute, that she approaches each game as if it were her first.)
