Description

This is part of my large backyard in the early morning. With the lens extended to 200mm the view of the acreage gets compressed. The haze in the sky indicates another warm and humid day. Thanks for looking. Jodie

very peaceful & gentle, Jodie, with that gentle morning haze and the gentle patina of early summer heat. The light has that diffuse quality too, early summer light; it lightly hangs in the air, and gives all the greens that yellowish gentle glow. You caught the roll & the softness of the land too, and the compression common to those types of shots doesn't detract at all (to me) but gives a sense of the combined lushness of your land. You do live with beauty; and I hope it seeps into you & your loved ones each day as the summer unfolds. Beautiful, quiet & peaceful, a real joy to come to. And a beautiful place to live in...

You are lucky to have such a beautiful place to live in, a pond is the best focal point one can possess in any garden, a blessing for the weary soul. Well captured piece of your territory.

OMG, you own half the world! I didn't know you were so well situated on such lovely woodsy green grounds, with nary a neighbor in sight. Nothing around to interrupt your solitude! Anyway, superlative clarity and colors in this 200mm shot, Jodie!

I think this time of the year they're all going to be hot and mostly humid at least around here and I'm not a fan of that kind of weather, beautiful backyard and capture!!!
