Description

Sorry friends , i am late since two days again. But because of some request, i update the shaders from La Belle jewels with Daz Studio shaders. Now i need some feedback from the studio user. You think the pearls are to glossy? Or the Gold not really gold? Somebody has some suggestions for me? Thank you a lot. I am a bloody beginner with studio and this is the first time i worked with it seriously. So please dont laugh about the worst quality of the image. I had such a pain to set up the scene. LOL For this little scene i need 1 hour to set it up. Bad Mood 2

The Cherry's and a cute summer hand bag you can download in the freebie section.I put the template in the pack too from the bag. For own textures. Stuff i used Hair, from DAZ April . Character Ute/Syltermermaid DDU Try to catch up your work now. Many hugs Ilona

The pearls look a bit pink, but the gold doesn't look like gold at all. It needs some specular, and reflection. I don't know diddly about Studio. If it were Poser, I could say. I like the woman's face....she looks like Jessica Alba a bit. Good picture over all.

i agree some specular on the gold. the pink pearls could use some reflection as well but subtle ... love the cherries .........

Overall a very nice render, a lovely character and the colors all work very well together. I'd have to say the easy way on your metals in D/S are to try some of the various free shader packs that're available. There's many of them here in the Freebies section but it can be hard and time consuming to track them all down. They're certainly faster than fiddling with settings and spot rendering to see the resulting changes. Aery_Soul's Forum has a comprehensive shader thread with multiple links here: http://www.aerysoul.com/board/showthread.php?t=1757 ~ I make extensive use of Sha's and George Haze's shaders in many of my renders. Just choose the area of your material and either double click the shader you want to use or drag/drop them to the specific area. For the pearls you might try the free "Grandma's Jewelry Box" shader presets from 'redeyecat' here: http://www.redeyecat.com/freebies.php ~ I haven't used them myself... no pearls in my runtime, but they may help you out.

lol...i can see by her face it's a pain...lol...Daz is a pain.I use daz but don't know anything about shaders.Only know know that the only thing that really helps in the appeareance of things is the lights.I think you did an amazing job looks really natural.

wonderful scene i too have tried daz but had better results using poser i guess when your use to using something it takes a while to get use to something else

The pearls are a bit pinkish, the rubies look grat but somehow the gold lost it's appearance. You will do it Ilona.

Beautiful portrait Ilona! Her textures and cherries and pearls came out great. The gold on her necklace could probably have a bit more reflection. As hardwaretoad pointed out already, there are great packs available, especially from Aerie Soul. Don't let that stop you from experimenting yourself though, if you like to tinker ;) Excellent work in D/S my friend and definitely worth pursuing.
