UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Good shooting. Your title must have scared away the ladies. Thought myself, for a second, that you had bought a black limo, with tinted glass and an automatic and were running around Chicago like Capone. ;-) Cheers and good travels, Skipper

Wonderful POV. And I agree. It's a fantastic museum, too.

I get all kinds of flak for my drive bys--but that's usually because I'm not the passenger!! But this is great and it sounds like your trip was all it should have been--yay!!

I'm with Andrea ... she and I would have been jumping out the passenger door and pushing our way in the doors! I followed the link. Some of my favorite paintings are in that building! Gosh. That would have been something to see! I'm looking forward to hearing all about your adventures once you're done having them, my friend! :)

So, where are all the bullet holes on the lion and institute walls, and the pedestrians diving for cover? That's what I, a Los Angeles resident, thought a drive-by was all about. In any event, a capital capture considering it was taken from a moving vehicle. Your new camera serves you well. I'm holding off uploading my military stuff until you're all settled back in your lair and ready to comment, Bill.

I knew that lion looked familiar, get capture. I hope you had a great time. If you were a little father north it's been cold and rainy forever now, it looks like you had some awesome weather.

It's a great shot, Bill, and a good thing that we were slowing down for the stoplight! (LOL) @goodoleboy: The bullet holes are in the facade of Holy Name Cathedral further up Michigan Ave. Big Al's boys whacked Hymie Weiss and the church took some hits in the process.

A great drive by and I will go and take a look at this gallery. I went around the Christchurch one while I was up there and enjoyed seeing what is new. Have a good trip.
