I love your ink art Ana. This is awesome. I see the women standing at the shore in the storm looking after their men coming home.

I love how they lean against the framing edge.

That is fantastic, Ana, and I know the story of the "Fishermen's Women". This is a wonderful tribute. You captured the waiting excellently. I guess this is the holiday there.

Well done - that wave sense pushing up and defining the faces - evokes quite a bit. This is so your medium.

very well done indeed, ana!! its sad to see them together there, like far away with their worries, but like congealed as well. and it is always such a joy to see how little is needed to make a mood or atmosphere so complete. its a beauty, ana :)))

another powerful vision from you. This one 'bristles'—there's almost a cry of defiance in it...like these women are crying to be free. Very powerful, the way you bind these women into one swirling mass. Or, as Tim says, defined by the waves around them...It's as if they're held together by the ocean, and they wait and wait and wait...Once again, you paint 'universal humans', they could be any people, anywhere, in any age. You give us just enough of their faces to give them 'identities', and your white & black lines literally "rush" on the page, like the crests of waves on an ocean. Oh---and your frame has an old ornamental design, lurking underneath the scratches and spills of the surface. Fine work once more. You "speak" with inks & graphite, they rush onto the page and sing & shout & cry out from the mountaintops. Very powerful, once again.
