Description

A waterfront harbour in the near future.Ferry ships arrive and depart from the resort city, bringing tourists from various locations, and taking others to connect with interstellar flights at the nearby spaceports.Above, small taxi craft zip around the resort towers, heading to landing pads atop various locales.Among it all, visitors and locals alike stroll along waterfront sidewalks, taking in the sights and sounds of this exotic location. Back to scifi for this one,and all was created and textured in Bryce 6.1.The towers are positive and negative prims,as are the ships(the ferrycraft incorporate two shapes from Spacebones). The lawns, bushes and distant hills are terrains, the people are lattices.I wanted to render larger, but the lawns and bushes kept disappearing(must be a memory problem),so this is the largest I could go.The sky is a customized preset, water is a preset. Postwork involved adding clothing colours to the figures(originally rendered in a preset terracotta colour),painting in the lamp-posts,cloning out some edges on the bushes, background colour and signature. Thanks for viewing and your comments!

When does construction begin, Neil? I'll put in for one of the condos, now. Really exciting render and work you have put into this. Especially like the cruisers flying about the towers.

Fine render of the near future. I'm intriqued by the lo-poly figures, though. Where did you get them?

Fantastic architecture. Would also be cool to see it with shattered windows, broken concrete sections and exposed rusted skeletal frames.
