Description

This is a mallard duck who was visiting the Paine Art Center the same day we did. He was ready for his close up. Although they are quite common here. I thought he was beautiful and worthy of a post. He didn't seem to mind having his picture taken at all. I was able to get pretty close to him. So I give you a duck enjoying the gardens. Sorry I didn't post last night. I was feeling a little burnt out from this last week. Thank you for all the wonderful comments you have left on my previous post. They are most precious to me. Have a great day/night . Thank you for stopping by to look. Your friend always, Cheri

nice capture, Cheri. You caught him in a wonderful angled posture, he looks like he owns that perch and is very comfortable. And his coloring makes a nice dialogue with the leaves behind him. Very fine pov. And btw, when you say he was visiting the Paine Art Center, it really sounds like he'd just come back from a Monet exhibit! (Did you ask him about Rembrandt? van Gogh? Just curious. Maybe he just visits to look 'well read', lol.) A really nice capture!
