Description

On a new trail the other day I found this cactus in the middle of a field of wildflowers. The cactus rose was in bloom, I thing they are a beautiful flower to be on something as rugged as a cactus. I've inserted a shot of the rose so that you can see into the rose complete with bug. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you car to leave.

We don't have cactus around these northern parts .. so this is a treat, seeing these beautiful rose like blooms .. the inset was a nice touch allowing us to see the heart of the flower .. with it's resident bug!
