Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

Awwww!! They are so beautiful!!! My dog was named Beauty, her parents were both show dog champions, and her full name escapes me now....it was rather lengthy, something to do with her lineage. I acquired her from the Domino's pizza guy, who frequently stopped by bearing sustenance. His home was small, and he kept her in a cage way too small for a dog her size and felt so bad about it. I'll never forget the day she came to live with us, she was a mess and so dirty, so the first thing I did was give her a bath. I remember wondering about half way through that, if this dog even liked water, and what if she didn't. I quickly learned that she was just incredibly intelligent,....and so gentle. I would let her out at night, and this dog would never leave the yard, ever!! She would just show up at the door when she was ready to come in, and wait for someone to come and open it. My ex used to baby sit back then. We had hardwood floors, and the younger children would grab that flagged tail as Beauty would be walking by. She never balked once about this, just would keep on walking as though nothing was amiss, and give them a tow, which they loved. I asked my wife ( at the time ) why she arranged for Beauty to be taken while I was not home. Her answer was that she thought it would be more painful for me to be there, than not. She never really did understand how important even just saying goodbye is. I learned much later that to her, everything was disposable, once she had grown tired of it. I realize that my friend is gone now, for many years over, but I still miss her so, and still regret not having that opportunity so say farewell, and hold her tight one last time,...she also gave incredible hugs. Thank you so much Barbara for sharing this collage, and even more for the dedication, this is so wonderful and thoughtful of you!! I need to go dry my tears and fix my nose, apparently the warranty had just run out on the drip less gasket.
