Description

When I bath the girls for a show, I dry them with the hairdryer & then they have these coats to put on so that their hair stays flat. Funnily enough, when they have them on Meadow & Jasmine's legs don't seem to work!!!!! I put them on them, they rush into bed & carn't possibly move, if they do they move rapidly to where they want to be. Only good thing about it is I get some peace for a while!!!! This particular day, Meadow & Jasmine both rushed in to the same bed & neither one of them could possible move. :o)

So, that's how you prepare them for a show. Wow, what dedication!!! I applaud all your preparation and TLC.

I had an Italian Greyhound just like this too, if I put a jacket on him he wouldn't move:-) It's hard work getting a dog ready for the show. I've been showing dogs for 30 years. I've shown, Igs, Borzois, Greyhounds, Bedlingtons, Chinese Crested Dogs and Japanese Chins, so I know about long coats:-) Of all the long coated breeds I think my hardest upkeep was the Crested, he was a Powder Puff and he needed to be bathed every second day!!! Lovely shot, they are gorgeous dogs you have there!
