My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Six carefully crafted verses. They say so much. You say you've pulled this off the shelf. Neat,...we can take Shelter and imagine you've written it with each of us in mind. Thanks for the warm thoughts :-)

Very touching words describing a friendship Tara.

Very touching, and oh-so-true of so many people I know...including a particular, lanky Russian who has decided that I'm his best student. But friends, especially the special ones, are like that. You learn so much from them, they push you, they say what's needed when it needs to be said (even if it's only electronic and trapped on your computer screen) and they always have some form of encouragement, even if it's just wordlessness as you're sharing blinis or something. I love this.

love the comments, and love the perspective Chip gives...this is so touching, and you do it with the most minimal means...do you know every line has 4 syllables (if you count "warrior" as 2, which it really is)? It doesn't matter if you don't, because it came out of your insides that way: Even the last two lines can make up one line of 4: Point is, it's like little gems one after the next, and the rhythm doesn't make tedium but rather soft inviting heart beats. it's wonderful. And I love that you call a friend "my heart". Yes. Whenever we have these people in our lives, they're the angels Marilyn talks about. Messengers...It's beautiful.
