I did this one a while ago, thought I'd upload it now....as I haven't been able to do a decent render lately to save myself! Mariach is trying to cheer me up by telling me that we ALL go through those stages - where you open up DS and play for hours and then trash everything you've done cos it's utter rubbish. Where you think you'll never do another half-way decent render ever, that your mojo is gone and you're doing nothing but rubbish. But I'm positive it's just ME who goes through that. *laughs* Ok, I know we all go through it. But it's awful, isn't it? The times when you feel like you're on a roll, and whatever you do, you feel happy with it are so fleeting - yet the times when you feel like you're the most non-talented hack there is and nothing you do is working last for AGES. Gah.
Anyway, I did this around the end of last month, and while I don't feel it's fantastic, I'm kinda happy with it.
Used Morris & JoshuasArt's new character, Aya, available at DAZ. I just love this character - she's gorgeous! The tatts are awesome - JoshuasArt has a pack of tattoos here at Rendo also...sitting on my wishlist at the moment, but hoping to grab them as soon as I'm flush again! Awesome work, guys!
Hair is Paradise Hair by 3Dream - I forgot I had it! Great hair!
And she's wearing the Techno Tabby outfit available at DAZ - I used some DS shaders by the brilliant Khory_D and Si_vincent (i forget which ones)
Uberenvironment light thingy also - at DAZ.
Oh yeah, apologies for the pink....*grin* Pink is evil, but I couldn't help myself.

I think this is absolutely gorgeous! I love the color and the mood. Yes it does happen from time to time, our muses get flustered. I know when that happens to me, my heart feels as empty as my empty pit of artistic vision ;-/ But it does come back, I promise ;-)

Loved it when I saw it at Daz and still love it. Artists blocks come and go. For me the best way to break the slump is a deadline. Go find a contest somewhere that you will fully commit yourself to entering before the deadline. Thank you very much for the advertising and great words too!!

WOw the vibrant color caught my, and the beautiful model pulled me in. I hear ya, I'm in the same boat. Just not feeling the creative side of me, I'm sure it will return it always does! Hanging there and don't stop opening up Daz and fiddling around.. sometimes things just happen that way.

I have to say this is really gorgeous work for someone who was "raised by a group of intelligent hairless chimpanzees". Love that profile by the way....LOL !! Why can't I ever think of clever things like that to say. :) I also lose my muse sometimes, it's strange but I can sometimes spend hours on an image, that just gets thrown out. Then the next one comes together in a matter of no time, and it makes the gallery or gets 50 comments. Love your image by the way, pink is my fav. :)
