Description

Some shots from Biltmore Estates, in Northern Carolina.. taken between rain showers lol. Well my to do list for today reads like this... GET your lazy butt out side and tackle back yard, we have been having a ton of rain here lately, and my yard is starting to look a bit like a forest, but the birds and squirrels are enjoying it.. lots of baby birds, and they are noisy. One day I came home to branches and leaves and debris all over my yard, the next morning around ten I was heading out to clean it up, and was having a cup of coffee out on the deck and looked out to the yard and it was all gone, ?? and I think I know who did that and I have to call her our neighborhood angel she goes around doing little things for neighbors all the time, so I just know it was her, so I may have to bake her a batch of cookies or a loaf of banana bread, to thank her. I hope you all enjoy your day, be back tonight to catch up to you all. Thanks to all that took the time to visit my gallery and to comment on my work, I appreciate you all. thumb_1899799.jpg

Ah, Biltmore! The most expensive private home ever build in United States. I would love to see it! But I would love even more to see the forest around, which is protected natural park fairy tale woods. Isn't there a wishlist around somewhere at Renderosity? What I wish most of all is some good high resolution (4000,5000px) photographs of Biltmore, taken exatly from the front sides and back directly 90 degree head on, (north elevation, south elevation, etc..)

Great collage and now I get a closer look at the "blue roof"...it is probably blue/gray slate. That was very popular on grand mansions when this spectacular place was built 1890-ish (1888-1895).
