Description

This clematis is from my own garden, so I didn't have to sneak around or anything! I just walked right up, stuck my camera in its face, and started clicking away. While I did a bit of postwork, I didn't crop this at all. The composition was done as I was shooting.

a very eloquent capture, the striations of the petals and the stamens make a complete 'starburst', though it's not with blasting colors but quiet beautiful ones. And your frame helps us feel that the energy goes on well beyond its boundaries. Fine capture, fine composition, and fine detail all around.

LOL, the sneaking only works with people. People are best photographed by ninja photographers, which is what my family has dubbed me. Great macro, and a beautiful clematis. I love the light coming through the pedals, superb!

lol ... I have to laugh at you "sneaking around " I often do that on my walks in peoples front yards if I see flowers ... not far into the yard but if its close to the street beautiful shot ! :)
