I'm pursuing my passions: writing prose (historical fiction, urban fantasy), photography, and poetry (mostly classical Gothic poetry).   I am amazed at the creativity within this site.  It is like looking at a gemstone: all the different art  forms and styles are its facets. Oh, why PSDuck? I make duck noises, especially the "chuckle" and the "food call". Yeah, I talk to ducks, go figure. Done so since I was a child.  PSDuck (Allen)

This is very interesting. Maybe a ladybird in metamorphosis?
tennesseecowgirl
a ladybug dressing for a date LOL Nice photo.
NightGallery
defiantly a ladybug. They take a while to emerge.
MrsLubner
Yup. A ladybug undergoing "they change." LOL I have a couple good shots of this too. It really looks like a painful process if you observe it day to day until it is done. Reminds me of those movies where people turn into werewolves and you see them contort and stretch... Poor little ladybugs. I wonder what they feel as they do this change...
gypsyflame
Some sort of catapillar maybe but more inclined to believe it is a lady bug....I'm still glad it's there with you
shadownet
I think I saw something like that in a movie. It crawls in your ear and take you over. Be ware! LOL
PSDuck
My wife thought it to be a ladybug, too. We'll see. Emma: what an interesting site. I'll put it next to JapaneseBugFights.com Shadownet: I'll keep my ears covered. "Wrath of Khan" reinforced my aversion to the bugs in the ear syndrome. (And, yes, I've had them there and up the nose: campouts.) MrsLubner: if it's a Ladybug, I bet it just can't wait to get out of the dressing room (as it were) and FLY! Man, I know I would! As far as the werewolf thing, I'll skip that one...but one usually does not get the Yes/No Query. I wonder if they eat dog food? Maybe with tabasco. Hmmm. Everyone: Thanks for your input!

great shot again :D
PSDuck
Well, it is a ladybug! She flew away this morning. Call in the bets.

Yep! A Ladybird (as we call them in the U.K.!) But Ladybug as they are called in the U.S. Great Shot! Rob.
