Description

I originally did this for Andrea, in a little discussion on PS-technique. Hope you don't mind my uploading it A! Just the fantasy of a bartlett pear...(and yes, it's the same pear I used for a previous upload). My last upload flew into a Black Hole: So if any of you commented & wondered what happened, my mistake. It's just been one of those nights...
* * * * * * I'm almost caught up with all of you it's been wonderful to see all your art! Have a great Wednesday, Mark (Photoshop.)

What do I see...Hmmmm. A colorful jelly-fish swimming in an unknown, pre-historic, exotic sea. No idea of how you do your art Mark but that is good...it keeps the mystery going. I like it very much!

First of all Make I was wondering what happened to your last upload as I went to see it and nothing was there. For me this one is also beautiful Mark as I have noticed everyone else agrees. When I look closely I see a soft pastel flower where a drop of rain has splashed off of it and the fine misty is spraying all about.

Whirls and swirls and jewels and color and life~~~all at once. I feel as though I could wrap myself up in this, be soothed and carried away--it's beyond beautiful!!

Beautiful, sensational color blends and amorphous effects in this concept, Mark! I know it's all about a bartlett pear, but, viewed from above, it resembles a revolving sprinkler system spraying a stack of multicolored rose petals.

I enjoy how you superimposed the pear so perfectly on the background curves.

I think if you took a pear and sliced it crosswise, then used it as a stamp on paper the colors would blend just like this! You can see the edges get ruffled as you work and the fibers absorb colors until they are saturated. (We used to do this with raw half potatoes but they probably don't absorb as much color.) This pear looks like you could peel off a thin slice and hang it in the window like a miniature stained glass monocle! What a neat view through that portal. Well done!
