Description

When the power goes off in my neighborhood it REALLY is dark. Here's the power company getting the transformer problem fixed at about midnight last night. I've not cropped this so you can get a feeling of how pitch black it is when the street lights, etc. are off. The trucks were so colorful, I had to try my recently acquired camera out in the dark. This is hand held and on an Aperture Priority setting. First things first. The camera focused without difficulty. My previous camera would have had all sorts of trouble focusing under these conditions. ...got to do more night photography. Bill:)

No! My camera doesn't like dark much either! Unless I can zoom on a patch of light! You have pulled a sterling shot out of the bag here! Well done. Rob.
