A great composition, James. Nice terrain, textures and atmosphere, in this nice, little sub-creation. The mist and rolling trees are what I would expect of the National Park. I've only some old NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC magazine memories, and the short, recent BBC TV series ( 3 x 50 minutes ) co-production to go by. This was entitled 'Yellowstone: Battle for Life' when shown, in a much shortened version, on the Animal Planet channel, in the USA. My old partner, in the police force visited this Park as well as the general Grand Canyon area, shortly before he died. He raved about it. Looking back into the 'old memory cupboard', I think I can categorically state that The only 'geyser' we had, hung on the kitchenette wall, and provided hot water, a miracle in those days... ;o) Warm regards, on Fathers' Day, John.
