Description
Merced River, just west of Yosemite. Monday, June 15. Water running as about 1500 cfs (puny stuff, the guides say!!). Water temp, 50 degrees. Class 3's and a couple of 4's. My son's the guide, I'm on his right in the back.
Fun??? OH YEAH!!!!!!

You're off to an early start, which is a good thing! Summer begins on Sunday, no? Ah...but getting early starts is always great, especially when they're as fun as this appears! I really should try this! Doing this as a collage is perfect, you get to show off wonderful details (and color) and provide an excellent slice into a fun and interesting life! Great stuff!

lol, Harry; and chip says "you're off to an early start"—you are, but I'm thinking, "an early start to insanity!!!" This is uh-ma-zing! Are you out of your mind??? You get in one of those rafts and brave the mighty rivers??? Mannnn, between the flagstones and the totems and climbing cliffs to get shots of roofs and this, you're doing more than I did when I was 30!!! Hey, more power to ya! You look like you're having a great time! (If that were me, my face would say, "oh yeah, I'm dead. I'm gone. Hope it's a nice funeral...") Uh-ma-zing...And it's a great montage, all that water, all those people crammed into that thing. Your son must know what he's doing! Great montage, lots of wash & light, and I love the way you do borders. Bravo, Madame! Stupafacente! I am impressed! (stupafacente means "stupendous", though don't quote me)

I would probably have wet myself several times on such a trip!! Of course,.....considering, at least no one would probably notice! I'd really love to go do that just once, rafting and that "jumping out of a perfectly good airplane" thing. Glad you had a blast!!!!!
