Local Hero Marvin “The Ox” Lambert proprietor of “Marvs’ Mechs” did not realize as he went about his life that a week later he would be the colony town of New Hellos’ most celebrated citizen. The official statement by the New Hellos Police is that A Go-Gang had moved into the area and was trying to establish themselves, by collecting protection monies from local businesses. Many area businesses and the local community council resisted. This resistance was met by nighttime violence from the go-gang, now know as the axe gang, taking their moniker from a notorious and ancient OTF group of Chinese gangsters. Upon approaching Marvs establishment, the Go-gang learned a hard lesson. When the Police arrived, they were greeted with a sight. 20 unconscious axe gang members. The rest of the gang were easily captured due to having received numerous and severe injuries. The leader of the go-gang turn out to be the notorious outlaw Leo Thompson Wanted for several felony crimes throughout the League. When questioned Marv only said, “When someone pushes me, I push back.” At 6’3” and 280 lbs. that is not hard to believe. At the age of 18 Marv enlisted and went on to completed two terms in the Legion, With the second term being in the League boxing arm, entertaining the troops across the galaxy. Where it seems Marv achieved a ranking second only to Sgt. Maurice Duvall , the then reigning champ. When told of his former rivals exploits Sgt. They didn’t have a chance.” Mustering out at the age of 26 Marvin went on to work for the engineering dept of Spacers Construction Company, where he met and married his wife Lilly "Candy Love" Simmons a year later in the Vegas system. Speaking on her husbands heroism Mrs. Lambert states, "He has always been my hero, thats why i fell in love with him..."
