Happy Belated Birthday, Carin!
I'm sorry I'm a day late, (but not a dollar short)! This is a photo of an Iris from my flower bed. Years ago I saved these Iris tubers from an old perennial flower bed. I moved them into my new place and have kept them alive ever since. I have no idea how old this particular plant is, only that it is very hardy and showy. Has to be a survivor in this harsh climate!
I hope you continue to keep all these wonderful birthday wishes in your heart for a long time and remember the warm feeling when you need a boost.

you know, this feels to me like an analog shot, and I can't say exactly why. It has the softness and meld of color/light/shade that analog has, and it has the presence too. It's beautiful, unassuming but lush; your play of light is quite soft, and you achieve a delicate fabric look, even of delicate foils. And the background is so natural as well. Beautiful capture and fine dedi. (Happy Birthday Carin!) It's bathed in a very delicate aura.
