Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I love the colors of sunset; the oranges and lavenders and golds...this is gorgeous, it would make a great painting!

The color in front and back are complementary and accent the peaceful color of the water. Wonderful work.

The foam is really frothing up like soup there.

yeah it would make a wonderful painting or weaving. I could see painting this...the sun & sky here are almost dissolved in an apocalyptic light; and the foreground shines with it, in golds; and then those big rich waves again, which you caught with lots of shadow and mystery. Man, that was one heavy-duty sunset—you wanted some shots, you got an epiphany...beautiful!

I'm much too awash in awe and wonder at the sight of this to make any cogent comments, Maz.
