Description

Well of course i have never had to use one of these and probably won't but out here in the deep country our systems run off of electric and when it goes out which can happen at times in the winter and storms knock out the transformers, well i guess u could say it is always good to have a backup as they say.

Some places around here in northern California still have these. I've had to use one on several occassions during my life and not so very long ago. :-) They can be very comfortable in certain weather if you don't find critters looking for shelter about the time you need to get in. Fun shot.

Many remote camps have these, we used to keep the kitchen wood stove ashes to sprinkle down the hole it helps to eliminate any lingering odor from the warmer months. Excellent photo here, well done!
