I thought this was interesting i have never seen one of these in bloom and didn't even know that they did bloom but the call them that cause if u break any stems open a white substance pours out of them so they just call it milkweed.

Yes, I discovered the flowers one day after many decades of looking right past them. They are a beautiful little cluster of flowers on an ordinary plant. Excellent photo!

I have these growing all over my yard, another plant considered a weed, that most people remove. Monarch butterflies love them, and they come back every year. They have such a beautiful fragrance to them also. Nice that you posted this, sorry for being so late to comment!!
