The other day when Denise (MrsRatbag) and I were at the Arboretum taking a million pictures, we were fortunate enough to meet these lovely dogs and their person.
These are Spinone Italiano, which I'd never heard of before. They were delightful! The woman they came to the park with asked them to sit for me so I could take their picture. They were so obliging, so well behaved, and they sat perfectly still. Then both at once they turned their heads to look at something far more entertaining than I, and it was a shot I couldn't resist!
The one on the left is a six-year-old female, and the one on the right is a two-year-old male. I was told their names, but have forgotten.
Thanks for all your good wishes and inquiries as to my health! I'm still pretty tired and coughing, and my voice is shot. I'm going through the galleries, but keeping comments to a minimum. It's pretty tiring to sit here! I hate being sick. :(

The shaggier one looks like Howdy... long story. When I was a teen we had rescued him from the pound, he became my best friend for the rest of his life. Awesome Photo, thanks for posting it. It brought back some cool memories.

delightful shot, and great that you got them in this moment; you couldn't have done better if you'd tried to set it up that way! And the background is fascinating: Are we looking at water covered by water lilies, or a big field with lots of flat green leaves? It makes a wonderful backdrop. Terrific looking dogs too...
