I'm just a girl with a Nikon D90, who loves taking pictures of just about anything and everything. Postworking my images is 'my thing' .. The main programs I use are: Photoshop CS 5, Corel painter 12. I am currently laid off and seeking employment. I have been in the technical support field for the last 12 years and have really enjoyed the work. Not sure what I want to do now. I think it depends on what is out there and what is available. Competition is tough, there are so many out of work these days.
Anyway! I have been a member at Renderosity since 2004.ÂÂ
If you've read this far, I want to thank you for your interest. :) ShariLyn

Ramble, sure.. works for me Shaz :)...You were lucky, yesterday I spent a whole hour chasing a Red Admiral around my garden, well not a real admiral lol, how funny does that sound?...Every time I got within a foot of the thing it took off, in the end I thought, oh well chalk that one up to experience, BTW!...Is this enough rambling?...Stunning capture dear, it is lucky, and it's a beauty!

I enjoy reading about the hoops other photographers jump through to get a picture. It helps to realize I am not the only one doing funny things to get a snap. So, rambling is good for me! Like your crop and the lighting on this one very much.

This high contrast butterfly is excellent material for the grungy textures. It was lucky indeed, dang Boris! Congratulations on the publication of your first tutorial! I hope it won't be the last.

Stellar shot of the b&w butterfly, Sharilyn. Lucky is right. It could also have been eaten by a wasp while still in the cocoon. And, bad kitty, bad!

Well, this is a lucky butterfly, but it seems to me YOU were the lucky one, considering two trips to get the cam and the right lens, and still you managed to get the shot! Very nice, Shari. :)
