Description

SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY … faithful followers of MADHOUSE mentality will no doubt be stunned by the appearance of the “SERIOUS” in doarte’s dictionary. However, by showing these duo duelers in a most manly diptych (without frivolity of frills) we’ve set the stage for a serious statement. doarte’s directors have decided to publically announce the debut of our ODDATORIA DAY SCHOOL PROGRAM for precocious preteen pixel painters … ages 5 thru 9. As you can see in these initial images, our tots exhibit talent. The “5rs” bedecked the backgrounds with brushes while “9”rs” little fingers clicked computer keys to shape heroes: a samurai and Viking getting set for comic strip clashes with varmints and villains. THE PURPOSE OF ALL THIS? It’s not just to applaud the creativity of children. It’s to embolden you who have kids in the corners of your lives to encourage their magical imaginations to thaw our icy technologies with art that brings a soul weary world … SMILES! doarte As always I thank you for viewing. And your comments are appreciated. credits doarte - backgrounds/brushes

The use of white/negative space adds for me a ghost like, mystical quality, workes very well-the characteres themselves are excellent portrays. Great suspended energy. I find the smile of the right warrior somewhat enegmatic, Mona Lisaish, as if he shares a joke with a zen universe. I like it.

AWESOME!!!:)

The precocious preteens have pixelated portraits worth pondering. The washes are washy the buckels are swashy. Compliments and congrats to the two little brats! 5+++++
