View from the top of the Sears Tower in Chicago on June 5, 2009.
ZOOM is a must.
Here we are looking to the east at Lake Michigan.
There is a "Skydeck" on the 103rd Floor that was closed in early June due to construction of an outside balcony. The 99th floor observation deck is inside but has a commanding view in all directions. Well worth your time if you get a chance to visit Chicago.

Such a lovely shot of a Great Lake, downtown and Grant Park. Makes me miss living eight blocks away because it was always "cooler near the lake" in summer!

Well isn't that lovely?! A view I've never seen before and surprised at how massive Lake Michigan is. A very nice shot, Bill, and I'll bet from what I've heard that you wouldn't want to be taking this shot from the outside deck in winter!

Although I suffer from virtigo, this is a great shot and a wonderful view.Quite taken with the red block, right of center.Headquarters of the U.S Communist party??. :) View From the 99th Floor ~ East, would seem to suggest there could be some other compass points coming, so I'd better lie down til my head stops spinning, thanks for sharing another TOP image.
