I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/ÂÂ

Lovely work. I like the weapons as well. What sort of adhesive to you use for the binding? Excellent work, good imagination and enthusiastic approach.

A really fabulous piece of work there! Wish I could come and see you wearing it. Expect you'll get some pictures to show us, though. Like the concept behind this costume.

Oh, I've just read what your idea exactly was: revering the Reptilian gods and creating a tribal costume to pay tribute to them... Now I know why I was attracted to your work, because I have a fascination for Sumerian myths -the Sumerians had all of their gods as big reptiles, and let me teach you 2 things: - "satam" means "administrator" in old sumerian language - "adam" means...pet in the same language... Anyway I love your project and the concept behind it and I think costumes are like collages or songs: we tend to reach for perfection, but we also take the risk of ruining it all if we proceed to too many adjusments... So let your reptile skin breathe on its own for a little while :)

You're a great artist on many different levels: digital art, photography, costume design, rock sculpture, et al. But I suspect you're a formidable anthropologist (xenologist) as well. I love it when something like a costume can open up all sorts of avenues of exploration, and it's good to see a culture that reveres life forms that aren't cuddly, cute mammals. I'd say that this is a museum-quality piece of work, with the added benefit of being functional in that way that only clothing can be. I'm curious about the culture behind the clothing, and I suspect that you've got a whole, rich universe in your head! THAT is always a good thing. I love the dragon scales: it looks like you've spent a lot of time getting close to various large lizards just to get the details right! The greenish color appeals to me as well as the furry fringe! Intriguing costume for an undoubtedly intriguing character! And as always, fantastic work!
