Point Lobos CA State Marine Preserve. Just south of Carmel-by-the-Sea. A sea otter munches happily, observed by some interested bystanders. ND70 photo, 105mm lens.

Have you noticed that otters take advantage of their high cuteness factor and place themselves right in the middles of things...even photographs? Even when they're not in the center of things, they draw attention...and this shot is perfect for that and for the attention of the two seals (sea lions?). The one on the left, the more tawny colored one is really beautifully captured. Great work. You have a fantastic eye for photography. Great stuff.
