Amazing. Fungus is always so appealing and that beautiful smut-red really stands out against the muted tones that dominate this. Is this fungus in the smut family? I'm asking because it looks a wee bit like more extravagant wheat smut (only a different color.) Great textures and light as well. This is one of those photos that just draws you into its own world. Great work.
