My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Funny, I look at this and I can her saying: "I've come to read your poet." This is a great portrait. I like the way it's so full of life and it looks like you had a lot of fun. Goofing around and taking photos is always the best way to spend days. Great work.

a beautiful portrait Tara. I mean, it's got more than just the radiant face & presence of one of our best & most subtle artists, and a cherished friend to several souls here; it's also got modulation and subtlety—it's just beautiful. The tones in her face, the play of light & shadow, the tones on her shirt and the way you've allowed highlights to come from her hair...it's just beautiful. It's so nice to see the face & spirit behind a wonderful artist like Denise. Such a terrific smile! Now, am I losing it or did she use this for an avatar for a few days? Right? Something like that? (Why don't I remember, you ask? Because you photography people change your avatars entirely too many times! I think I counted 400,000 the last month alone. I'm proposing fines & prison sentences...though I'll settle for cash & a small european car...we'll talk...) Anyway, a terrific shot as a picture, a terrific capture of a wonderful photographer, and a wonderful tribute to your friend. Voila! (btw...lol, Andrea's comment about hiding behind avatars: Point well taken, except does that mean Andrea's got 4 legs, a big tail and likes to paddle through water? That makes me a foot tall, very thin, with a dynamite head of hair...I'll take it, my real hair has a lot missing on top!)
