Description

Lightnings vs Mig 21s. Never actually happened but it would have been a real scuffle between fairly evenly matched fighters. Full size has more detail. Thanks for looking and all comments are appreciated

I like the Lightning, it's an odd-looking plane with its engine-configuration and definitely different wing-design. It could outclimb just about anything in its days, and even today..... If they would have upgraded the avionics and weaponry, I think it would still be a great interceptor. The scene-setup for the imminent fight looks great here, and that sky adds to the whole mood....

Rob DOES indeed love this!!!!! (FAVE!) Mind you. Lightnings were point defence fighters so it would never have happened OR if ya wanna play..... all they would have to do is kick in the afterburner and you wouldn't see em' for dust! Fast does NOT describe a Lightning! We in the U.K. are desperately holding our breath for the day we will be allowed to see one fly again! Thanks. Quality, Dave! Rob.
