Description

After this one, there is one more Damselfly image in this short series but it was not taken with the 18-55mm lens, I used the 55-200mm for it. I saw one of these purplish colored Damselflies several weeks before I managed to get a pic of one. It is a new species for me but I don't know it's name, lol. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. BTW: I have been asked several times as to how I manage to get Dragonflies, Damselflies , Butterflies etc to sit on my fingers. There is no real secret. I just offer it to as many critters as I can. Of course, I have to be close enough to offer it. That is a bit trickier but it mainly involves sitting still for extended periods of time and moving very very slowly, lol. Lee
