AS I left the Painted Church**, I looked back and the late afternoon sun was coming in the windows. There are old murals on the wall that are barely visible. When I saw this shot, well, it almost seemed like a little miracle!!

Gorgeous light. When I was a little girl I used to get told off for not bringing my interesting thoughts to the lesson, and one of the reasons was a fascination the the play of light and shadows on the classroom wall from the low sun. Both your photo and Taras have sparked off memories today!

This is intensely beautiful! I love the rich, lovely red. The way the light and shadow plays is superb. What's quite amazing about this is the way the red seems so restful! Red is not often associated with restfulness, but you've managed to make it so here. This is great!
