Description


This is a rare critter to see in my area. My photos were not good but I was happy to see this dragonfly let alone get four poor photos. He is quite large, my camera was not set up the best at the time. Hope it is acceptable for the unique content alone. I should have the follow up photos of the calico pennant for those who were waiting. They have turned from the yellow to red phase. Best to all- GB-

Dragon flies are not rare to find here but they are for me. I just don't seem to be tuned into them. Most of the time, I don't really spot them until they are shooting off into the distance. :-) Great shots.
