Description

I still find landscapes very tricky, I am not 100% happy with this but I thought I would upload because with this image I used a normal map to enhance the terrain surface - I was very pleased with the results. Geocontrol and Carrara

scaling seems a bit off. Nice material transitions though.

I like the feeling of depth and space on this. The same type of vertigo feeling at the Grand Canyon when looking over the edge. Excellent work.

Nicely done...the addition of the figure gives a sense of scale and distance to this!

Since I have admired your gallery works for some time, it is a pleasure to view your progression through different genres and mastery through each- although you are not 100% happy with this, I think it is a very pronounced step through this medium and a testament to your artistic ability!

Hmm... Well it looks fantastic in terms of all things fundemental to 3D landscapes. The figure seems to complicate things though, not sure if it would be scaling or depth but I'm leaning toward depth.

The landscape is very impressive. I have yet to do anything landscape-wise in Carrara that didn't look positively horrible. I really like the water. The only thing I see odd is that the foam on the edge of the river seems more like something you'd see on a seashore than a river.
