Description

All the buildings were initally modelled in Bryce (5.1), but I re-modelled the little round houses in Hexagon, as the number of booleans was making the wireframe too confusing to work with. The temple is all Bryce. No postwork apart from a little bit of work on one of the spars in the foreground. The decorative textures on the buildings are based on some freebies from Xceiverx, to whom many thanks. Hope you enjoy looking at it.

This does remind me of a dutch illustrator - Anton Pieck - who made some marvelous drawings.Something of the mood he managed to get in his pictures I see in yours also. Well done.

Great architecture, the texture is a wonder. Is that a windmill or a radar on the left beside the round house? Pardon me for my curosity. I like the temple especially the one on the center.

Many thanks to you all for all your kind comments - I'm in the process of tidying up the house models, and when I get this done I'll put them into the free stuff, if anyone is interested. The lighting itself is extremely simple - the effect is produced by tinkering about with the RGB settings in the Sky Lab. I will post this too, along with some other skies. Mikekoh - the thing at top left beside the round house is a windmill, and it's copied from the design of a Persian windmill, one of the oldest windmill designs in the world.
