I did this for Martin that is not here in RR for a while (as he said at least),because he is working a lot… Well, wherever you are,my good, good wishes,and take care and return so soon as you can…))))))

Well, Martin,perhaps you don´t see this,but forgive me not ask for "permission"...LO...but once you said it was min...so I played around, because I needed a reference image like a landscape with pencils,and I haven´t...so I used “ana´s place” and...lol, i´m not so dextrous and good as Mark is (we all know his peerless art...)but I gave me a try and with layers on,layers down,on the top and behind, in the midst and over and over again…LOL,I achieved this and I liked this and I hope you enjoy also this place…)))and you might have a smile with it...))))))

It's gorgeous Ana! A beautiful dedi for one of our best artists, and (yes) one of the most supportive & kind people we have here. I too wish him all the best in his present endeavors, and I too have been blessed & honored by his support and wonderful critiques, always supportive, always loving & always so caring about artists! Ai...and to mention 'me' with such kindness, in a dedication for Martin (ai ai!)—I'm deeply flattered, but I don't deserve your praise! Really, next to you & Martin, I am the student, ever learning from what you two do! Everyday! But thank you anyway, my dear friend... As for the art, it's another of your pieces that leave me speechless, you always go beyond the threshhold...It's kind of a hole, but it's so rich & its rims are so beautifully painted & blended & textured, it's like a crater in a mountain filled with riches. I love the purples on the right-side, and I love the purples bleeding through the left-side; and love the rock-like textures, and the spilling pinks at bottom, and the gray washes—and on and on. It's like a womb of life & mystery (you do so much with the simplest gestures). "Sítio" can mean "besiege" (sítiar)—right?—or "site, place, farm". I don't know which you mean, but both work for me: It's "Ana's place," a deep place of the soul. But it could also be something working to be free. Whatever it is, your work is always richer than any descriptions, and you've made a beautiful compact universe for another compact universe (Martin), by a beautiful compact universe (you)—not bad for one upload! Wonderful image, wonderful dedi. Maravilhoso.

Maybe you can't believe me Ana, but I just did a picture for Martin this last weekend and I was thinking about posting it or waiting until he comes back.... Is this some kind of harmony between us pr maybe we just miss his wonderful pictures? who knows ;O))))) Anyway it's a splendid work and dedi you have done for him ;O)

thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you , ana :))))) LOL it is always something special to find a dedication here in this place, like a surprise coming from so far away but dont feel the distance at all, thats one of the funny things about our friendships here. somehow they are so free and without some of the limits we have over in each one of our little worlds with our family and friends beyond the keyboard. but maybe thats the secret of the joy i feel to see a dedication that comes thoroughout this, good thoughts and feelings, thats what i see all over here, since a bunch of years until today :))))) thank you, ana, for this wonderful dedi and gift, you can be sure i am glad, quite a lot, thanks for the big smile and for thinking of me :))))))))))

Oh Ana, I've finally had time to come view some of your art. This is so very pretty and cozy. It reminds me of a nest in shape and the colors are so warm and rich. I look again and I now see an egg! How appropriate for a nest! It is beautiful and I can see that Martin loves it, too. Very nice dedi and quite intuitive, too! Hugs, Jodie
