Description

Whale watch off Gloucester, Massachusetts about 30 years ago - nasty weather that day. I have not had the best of luck scanning photos that old but here goes anyway. Humpbacks grow to 40 – 50 feet (12 – 16 meters) and can weigh in at 79,000 pounds (36,000 KG). The amazing thing is that once we were out in the migration path, the whales found us. as it is scanned it doesn't really look that bad (quality), but as I don't really know the original, I can't say anything about that. but the picture is still great!
