Description

Hi there. One of my hatched Smerinthus ocellatus - sitting on my hand and let me look him deep in the eyes... This shot was also taken with the new lens, hope you like to see the colors and the compound eye. Have all a great weekend. Next week I will show you a little beetle I found in the garden. Stay tuned.

It's the insect version of the Russian Blue cat! Quite a fuzzy character, and great detail from your new macro lens on its compound eye! Unfortunately, in my area, I don't see interesting moths, just one species in particular that isnt photogenic or interesting- though entertaining (and apparently tasty) for cats.
