Description


The bottom of a kelp plant is the hold-fast that attaches it to the rock substrate, In this case the hold-fast did not quite hold so fast. Point Lobos CA State Marine Preserve. Just south of Carmel-by-the-Sea. ND70 photo, 105mm lens.
