Description

"Listen to them--children of the night. What music they make." --Bram Stoker Dracula I know this one is strange, but I think I'm done with vampires for a while. I like bats and wolves (two misunderstood species) and things that "go bump in the night." So, I'm sure vampires will return to my gallery eventually. Here's that red sun, you mentioned, three_grrr. See how you each inspire me? I wanted to play with Daz 3's new shaders, and tiled two of my backgrounds for the cape and dress. The background consists of several layers of backgrounds I created. The character is V3 again. I had fun morphing her into a man. For the wonderful bat for both the background and in his hand I used the Silverkey model by Debra found at Daz. Free stuff: RRDecoNecklace by robrose found here at Renderosity in the free section. Pyramid stud ring by d boudreau at ShareCG. Tools: Filter Forge, Artmatic Pro, the Gimp. Rendered in Daz 3. As always your input keeps me working. Thank you for looking and for any comments you care to give.

Great image! The textures of the cape and the robe are just amazing! The bat in his hand looks real cute to me. And great morph of V3 too.

Is there no end to your creativity and skill? Superb composition (of course!), and wonderful work on the robe and cape. And V3 has never looked so.... manly! :o)

A great render! The bats in the background give it a gothic feel, and I love that blood red motif throughout your series! Excellent creativity and the open hands is both eerie and ominously welcoming! Stunning artwork and imagination!

Your red sun is like a Japanese print sun, big & bold and, nicely, visible more 'through' things in your image than by itself. I love the man's cape, since it seems to be a sheet of the cosmos, filled with galaxies and nebulae; and it unfurls around him as casually as if it were a small piece of silk. But his gown also seems to have galaxies on it (only in greens), which kind of continues the theme. (This guy must have a major wardrobe bill!) And the background in general seems to have an organic swirly thing going on, which is in nice harmony with the gown, etc. I like how the sun is hidden but shines through. And the man still has the reddish locks of some of his previous incarnation (as a woman); and I like how he holds that bat. Lugosi's Dracula might have driven Stoker a little batty, but he did 'get' that Dracula was a seductive guy; and I can see how this guy—your caped night-stalker—could be seductive to anyone who crosses his path. Always well done, with all your fine touches & flourishes and your always present humor too. And as always, designed impeccably. I'd love to see this guy swirl off his cape & lay it on the table; and about 16,000 planets yell, "hey! we're sleepin' in here!" Always a delight.
