I love the shape of bare trees against the sky; well seen and captured!

Fantastic back light shot. I like the mood you've captured.

I like this alot...but aren't the warm rays of the sun and green leaves even nicer?
goodoleboy
bmac62/Bill: No, I find the bare trunks, limbs, branches and twigs display a lot more character and individuality than a fully leafed tree. And I like any departure from the ten months of summer we have out here.

I was going to comment on its lack of leaves, and then noticed you took the image in March! :) Nice shot, Harry!

yes, I imagine 10 months of summer could get a little repetitious! They say we have 9 months of winter here in chicago (lol)—a bit of an exaggeration, but it's pretty cold! Anyway, a very fine shot of a tree silhouetted against a deep blue clouded sky, and the dark adds to the mystery of the event. (Cold weather definitely has its own light & mysteries.) This could be in a northern town too. It says #4: One of these days I'm going to have to go traipsing back and finding all the antecedents to your series! I came in at number 10, number 14, and up. I feel cheated, lol! A wonderful 'cold weather' shot, and lots of mystery too...and btw, if Lynell is referring to that china video, I saw the rest too, and it was spectacular. It must've taken a lot of time to program all that. The little 3D I've done has been "still" work, and it took forever. Thanks for the link Harry!
