Description

I wait.. Battered and bruised, Discarded and used, Alone,.. In the darkness, I wait... Rain falls, snow flies Seasons change, a dream dies, Yet Alone,.. In the darkness, I wait.. Alone,... In the darkness, I wait For the ray of sunshine, That is your smile. The warmth, That is your touch. I wait.. Alone,.. No more lies,.. No more goodbyes. Free me.. From the darkness.. In which I wait copyright Amy Galloway Dec. 2006

Wow, Amy what a fantastic image to visualize this poem but what a dark and depressed image. It so expresses the darkness that these poor misfortunate abused kids must feel.

Sends a shiver through me just to read the poem let alone to see the image that goes with it. Would be a fine poster for an abused children or wives shelter for sure.
