Description
While Oracles serve only the crown ruler of their land, Seers will work for anyone willing to pay the asking price. Neysa is one of the more high-priced Seers but her talents are well known and she is never unemployed long.
King Hesphur has been trying to get Neysa into his employ - and his bed - for as long as she can remember. The Oracle of Ryna is young and not as good as the other Oracles, putting King Hesphur at a disadvantage. Each time he asked Neysa to work for him she laughed and turned her back on him. That is why it was a shock to everyone, most of all King Hesphur, when Neysa showed up at his castle to say that she was ready to work for him.
The King was overjoyed at having Neysa at last on his side and within the castle walls. He was certain he would be able to seduce her and convince her to become Ryna's Oracle or, if he was lucky, his Queen.
If only he could see what was in her heart, King Hesphur would have her executed in an instant. Neysa had a vision that shook her very core, one where she saw all of Tesu struggling to survive while King Hesphur sat in one of his castle towers, warm and safe and well-fed as the people below begged for a bit of rice and the bodies of the starved were piled into mass graves.
Thus Neysa set out on her quest to prevent the prophesy from coming true. If it meant tolerating his touches and going to his bed from time to time, then so be it. Ryna's Oracle may be a problem but Neysa doubts it. She either lacks the skill to get clear visions or she dislikes King Hesphur enough to withhold the news that his Seer plans on undermining his efforts.

Many thanks to everyone who has taken the time to view and to comment. I found it a lot harder to share the fantasy story I made up in my head than it was to share just the renders but now that I'm 'out of my comfort zone' I think I like storytelling better (so I really hope you like the story LOL).

Well done! What I found helpful was that if I had the image in front of me, the story flowed! Great job on the image AND the story

I always like a good story to go with an image and you are on your way here. This has the start of a good yarn to it. You have set up a 3 way antagonist relationship which is always a classic. Good luck with the story telling and keep at it.
