Description
"You're worried about Neysa going to King Hesphur, aren't you?"
Sulea turned at the sound of her brother's voice. "Aren't you?"
"Yes. Queen Bellis is having the Oracle brought to the castle to see what visions she has of Neysa's plans."
"The Queen is worried too, then."
Dalvo came closer and rested a reassuring hand on her arm. "It is a surprise but we will deal with it."
"Neysa is the best at seeing the future."
"She is one of the best. The Oracle of Solis is just as good."
"I'm sure."
"Sulea, what's really bothering you?"
"I hate seeing you and Ayn so miserable. She should be with you."
"Her marriage to Prince Josha and a unified front with Leyni against King Hesphur--"
"I know, I know. That doesn't mean I have to like it."
"Come, we can go to the tower and I'll tell you stories like I did when you used to have nightmares. There are still some tales I haven't told you."
"That's because you make them up as you go." She hopped down off the railing and walked with him. "Are you sure you want to entertain your little sister? We are both kind of old for fairy tales."
"Nonsense. For one night we're allowed to forget our problems and get lost in the tales. Besides, fairy tales are based on morals that help guide us in our lives."
"I just hope everyone gets a happy ending like they do in the fairy tales."
"So do I, Sulea. So do I."
***********
It doesn't really progress the story much but hopefully it gives a bit of insight into the situation in Solis :-)

Wonderful scene! yes, it does help the story progress. sometimes you move off on a tangent to make a direct point!
Radar_rad-dude
A most delightful interlude between the more action packed scenes! Sometimes you need to take a break to digest what has gone on before and appreciate what you have accomplished! A wonderful render and episode! As you hoped, it does give more substance to this tale! Great job! 5+++++

Sometimes you have to take a bit of a sidestreet to make a story move along in the future. This I am sure you have well done here. You add some depth to the siblings characters and this can be played on down the line.
