Description

In the woods

As darkness falls over the Old Woodlands to the southeast of Thanhome City, denizens of the night forest see a curious sight: A man, clearly of a Wizardly nature judging by his pointy hat, is driving his horse cart through the moon drenched night. This is Senior Augurer Provid Cromik, out and about at this unseemly hour as he rides forth bearing urgent tidings from the Emperor's Grand Vizier Irafa Splend.

It's uncommon to see people about in the woodlands at this hour - this night-travelers journey must be pressing indeed to chance the High Road at night.The traveler himself has no concerns however - his eyes constantly read the landscape around him, divining the probabilities ahead. Provid Cromik knows the road will present him with no peril this night and so he passes free of fear.

A very new image, one of several made specifically to fill narrative gaps in the story. Man, Cart Horse and cat and mushrooms made in trueSpace and exported to Vue. Not easy to see in the shifting moonlight are a couple of foraging deer, further off in the gloaming. Beautiful work, the lighting is perfect for the mood. I enjoyed getting a glimpse of the story, you do write as well as you create art - what a wonderfully blended talent you are!
