Description

For all the candles in the wind First of all.. apologies for not being able to visit Renderosity for the past 2 weeks. I will catch up on all your gallery posts as fast as i can. My comments will prolly be a bit shorter than usual. 2 weeks of ebots weighs heavily in my mailbox.#:o) My almost 10 year old computer hardware died a day later than Michael Jackson. A week with temperatures around 90F(30C+) was more than my PC hardware could handle. But i'm up and running again.. though i still need to reinstall an awful lot of stuff. For this image... of course the inspiration came, when i heard yet another candle in the wind .. burned down too fast. So i listened to this fantastic duet, and song...which also describe Jacko's destiny: Click here to hear stars, sing about the destiny of other stars I was never a big fan of Michael Jackson. Still i admire him for his innovative and progressive singing, dancing and shows. He is without doubt, The King of Pop. But i admire him most because of his feelings about the twisted world we live in. He wanted a better world with more love among humans in general... same message as Lennon had. He also guarded his inner child.. which made him as fantastic as he really was. Jacko worked his way up from nothing... to being the one of the biggest stars who ever lived. He spent a lot of time and money on those who suffer in this world... giving.. not just taking like many others do. I also find it absolutely tasteless... that some people over time.. accused him for all kind of wickedness..Just to get a hand on his money.... a disgrace to see how the law protect a scoundrel cruising for money. Fame has killed a lot of people, over the passed 50 years. Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon.. and a lot of others... And 2 weeks ago, fame killed Jacko too.....i really feel sorry for his kids...because no matter what people say.. he was also a father. Seeing his daughter speak to the world, about the loss of her dad.. wet my eyes... i must admit. The media killed all those those stars...because the media never leave stars alone.. not for one second. And that is too much for some.. in the long run. Marilyn Monroe was more than a beautiful woman... she was also intelligent. Look at what she said.... *Hollywood is a place where they'll pay you a thousand dollars for a kiss and fifty cents for your soul.*...Marilyn Monroe *Being a sex symbol is a heavy load to carry, especially when one is tired, hurt and bewildered.*...Marilyn Monroe *I restore myself when I'm alone.*...Marilyn Monroe (she was never alone #:o)) *An actress is not a machine, but they treat you like a machine. A money machine.*...Marilyn Monroe

And now his father says he believes there was foul play...I sure hope it was simply something to do with his lupus. You spoke sincerely and very heartfelt about him, your usual brand of kindness:-) Many still believe the stuff that was said, I don't, I believe he honored his inner child, tho he seemed to me to be a very sad human with all that he had to endure. I never cared much for his music but I thought he was a wonder in his business. I hope he is finally at peace, I believe he worked hard for it! Bravo Lars, Bravo!!! Wonderful words, wonderful image and a personal fav!

Yes I was so saddened to hear that Jacko had passed on, but hope that wherever he is now he is at peace and never to be hounded again. I love the song that Elton John wrote for Marilyn Monroe and how he altered it wordwise 'Goodbye Englands Rose' for our own super star the beautiful, precious, and kind Princess Diana, we will never forget her. This is such a beautiful artwork Lars depicting the sadness and the loss of those wonderful souls who filled our lives with joy. hugs jane xxx
