Description

After the rains here in Oklahoma USA it brought new life to the backyard roses, shot this yesterday. I’ve been working on the grunge thing for a while; on the same images I might add just wasn’t happy with my results. The sentences form Shari’s (tizjezzme) tutorial (“I have noticed that not all photo's can be easily Grunged. I have worked on numerous photo's and no matter what textures I apply to them, it just simply doesn't work. Set it aside and just find another photo”) kept running through my head. I was working on two different projects nothing seemed to work. The other statement so many have made is this is easy Hmmm what does that make me, pounding my head on the desk in frustration, Ok that was a rhetorical question so please don’t answer that, LOL. Yesterday I finally scrapped the projects and did what Shari said, I set them aside. I’d hate to say I’m hard headed but if the shoe fits.... I started looking through the shots from yesterday and liked several of the rose pics right out of the camera. This shot was a totally different subject than the last two so I plunged back into the world of grunge once again, this time with some success, finding out that the subject really does matter, now the words set it aside, set it aside, set it aside can quite playing through my mind occupying my every thought and, Ok a little poetic license just for drama, LOL. I liked the results this time I hope I can now finally get rid of this head ache and repair my desk before the next great thing comes along! It really is a great deal of fun and easy to do. A special thanks to Shari for all her help through her Tutorial and awesome images! Thanks so much for your views and comment I appreciate each and every one, have a great and creative weekend!!!
